Day names are optional. Without a time of day, 8-5 is read as 8:00 to 17:00. Lines it cannot read are listed, never guessed.

How to total a time card
For each day, subtract the clock in time from the clock out time, then subtract unpaid breaks. Add the days. Convert minutes to a decimal if you will multiply by a pay rate.
This tool does those steps for you and shows each one under the result. For decimals alone, use the minutes to decimal calculator.
Rounding punches
Some employers round clock times to the nearest 5, 6 or 15 minutes. Open More options to try that. Rounding must be neutral over time, so ask your employer how their policy works.
One week at a time. For a two week pay period, calculate each week on its own, because overtime is counted by workweek.

How do I calculate hours on a time card?
Subtract the clock in from the clock out for each day, subtract unpaid breaks, then add the days together.
How do I convert time card minutes to decimals?
Divide the minutes by 60. Forty five minutes is 0.75 hours.
Can I use this for a biweekly time card?
Calculate each week separately. Federal overtime is counted per workweek, so two weeks of 45 hours is not the same as one block of 90.
